Web Site Upgraded- New Content Added

Over the last week, http://www.victorgardensnews.org has been upgraded.  

  1. Documents Page: A large amount of current and historical material has been added to the Docs (Documents) page. Includes a new organizational chart designed to help residents understand how VG’s stakeholders and homeowners fit into the big picture.  Also includes historical documents, covenants, architectural design guidelines, and other related documents.

  2. Contacts Page: An expanded Contacts page includes many more phone numbers, email addresses, and website links than before.

  3. Financials Page: Look for updates in the Financials section in the next few days for the latest statements.

City Working to Schedule a Meeting

According to Bryan Bear, Hugo’s Community Development Director, The City of Hugo is working to schedule a public meeting with VG’s developer, City representatives and staff, and the residents of Victor Gardens.  It’s the hope of the Board Advisory Group that builders will also participate in the public meeting.  An announcement will be made when the meeting is scheduled.

The Beard Group purchases 26 lots in VG East

Yesterday, The Beard Group, closed on their purchase of 26 unbuilt lots in VG East.  The loans on those lots were previously in default, then M&I bank acquired them through foreclosure from CPDC.

Reminder- Board Meeting Set for February 7, 1:30PM

The next Victor Gardens Community Association’s Quarterly Board Meeting is scheduled for Thursday, February 7, at 1:30PM at the Neighborhood Community Center.  

If any homeowner would like to be heard at the meeting, a public forum is provided.   

The meeting’s Agenda is currently being developed.  If there are any specific items that homeowners would like to be discussed in detail, please share your thoughts.  Residents can post a comment for discussion, or comment on other’s suggestions.  I will request that these items be added to the formal Agenda. If you prefer to email me your comments please send them to: mark@victorgardensnews.org
