Katie Moraczewski wins big!

Congratulations to one of our neighbors, and WBL Junior Katie Moraczewski, who recently won a major Cross Country race.  Well done Katie!

Kare-11 News has the details:

“No rest on this Labor Day for one of the Twin Cities top cross country runners.

White Bear Lake junior Katie Moraczewski is starting to see her hard work pay off.

Last Friday, Katie won the prestigious 16-team Irish Invitational in Rosemount beating many of the metro's top runners. It was the first big invite of the fall, and Katie's first varsity victory ever.

She's been close many times but broke through on Friday

Katie won the Irish Invite by 16-seconds.

She finished 9th at the state cross country meet last November so she's on track to have a big season.”    - KARE 11 News
