Board Revokes Pool Privileges

In addition to investigating the recent problems I noted in my last post, the Master Board took action and revoked an owner's pool privileges. They allowed unauthorized people into the pool.

Remember: Your key fob is unique.  A log is kept of your fob's every swipe in and out of the Activity Center and Pool.  Cameras record everyone's activity around the pool area and its entrances.  This information is electronically stored and has been used by the Board to take action against rules violators.  Technologies present in Victor Gardens Pool and Activity Center can also be used to assist in law enforcement.

To prevent loss of pool privileges and fines:
Do not allow anyone other than your family and (up to four) guests to use your fob.
Do not bring glass containers or food to the pool.
Understand the pool's other rules are in place to keep everyone safe and to prevent your dues from being spend on fixing expensive pool problems.

Enjoying the Pool with Common Sense

Over the weekend, a few residents emailed me about some problems cropping up at VG's pool.  Kari Miller, Victor Gardens Community Manager is the person to report rules violations and pool problems. Key fob and facility access questions should be directed to VG's Community Manager, Kari Miller at (763) 225-6424 or kmiller@developcommunity.com

Among the reports I heard though, a dog had been allowed to swim in the pool, someone broke a glass bottle on the pool deck, and residents exceeded the number of allowed guests.  Common sense sadly didn't apply in at least a few of these problems though, especially glass containers in and around the pool.  It's important to say something when you see that something's not right.  We need to look out for the health of our residents and the safety of our swimmers.

As a reminder, I've posted the rules again below.  Those indicated in red are a few of the violations that reportedly occurred over the last week or so.

Kids Causing Trouble

Anytime Fitness just posted on Victor Gardens News' Facebook, detailing a problem they've been having with a few kids on bikes.  If anyone might be able to help nip this in the bud, please contact Anytime Fitness directly.  Here's what they posted:

Recently, we have had a couple of youth between the ages of 12 and 16 riding their bikes around the club usually between 4:30am - 5:30am and kicking and punching our glass in the attempt to scare members. They have been hitting the glass so hard that it shakes the security cameras. Although there is no way of telling for sure if they live in Victor Gardens, our members have seen them coming and going from the Victor Gardens area numerous times and we have now notified the police. We have video of the kids and have given a recorded copy to the police. If you suspect you may know who they are, could you please let us know and maybe you could come in and check the recordings to positively identify. We are taking this matter very seriously as we have had members state that they believe they are trying to break the glass. If your children are out on their bikes around this time, we would highly recommend that you let them know that this will not be tolerated and that we will press charges. Thank you and I apologize for the negative nature of this post. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
