Pitch In with a Committee of Your Choice!
There are many opportunities for Victor Gardens residents to volunteer to improve their community and connect with neighbors. All town homes and single family homes residents are encouraged to participate.
Events Committee
Events Committee
Victor Gardens' Events Committee plans family-friendly activities such as annual National Night Out parties, park parties, and multiple movie night events. Members coordinate community garage sales, food shelf donation drives and holiday parties. A variety of adult social activities, including wine tastings, and other outings are also planned by this active group.
Volunteers help our Community Manager oversee the health of Victor Gardens' plants, shrubs and trees, help oversee our snow-removal and landscape contractors, and serve as our Community Manager's "eyes and ears". Committee members are not necessarily responsible for hands-on planting, weeding, etc. Those tasks will be reserved for contractors hired by the association. Committee volunteers work cooperatively with our Community Manager and Board to help maintain the beauty of our neighborhood, and offer recommendations for its improvement. Please see this post for more info.
Architectural Advisory Committee
The Single Family Village AAC reviews landscape and architectural change applications for existing homeowners, and makes recommendations to the SFV Board.
