D.R. Horton Decides Not To Build New Homes in Victor Gardens
Yesterday, the Master ARC received a letter from Scott Richter, D.R. Horton's Minnesota Division President. Although they received approval to build two homes, they've since decided not to build within Victor Gardens' Single Family Village.
Mr. Richter graciously wrote, in part, "...Victor Gardens is a great neighborhood, we would have considered it a great opportunity to be part of it, and wish the community the very best going forward..."

ARC Approved 3 New Home Designs
During Victor Gardens Architectural Review Committee's (ARC) meeting on February 23, the Committee approved one Arts & Crafts style home design to be built by DR Horton. This lot is located on the north side of Val Jean Boulevard and near the bridge.
During yesterday's ARC Meeting, DR Horton received approval to build a Farmhouse style home south of the tennis courts along the "dead-end" portion of Val Jean Boulevard.
DR Horton's Scott Richter reported to the ARC that they intend to start building to be ready for the Fall 2012 Parade of Homes.
A local couple who purchased a lot last year along Val Jean Boulevard (nearer to Val Jean Park), also received approval last evening for their Craftsman style home designs. Homes by James will build the home.
