  1. If this blog is going to be utiliized for advertising purposes, will there be no bias shown? Will all other local businesses given the same profiling 'facetime' and promotion?

  2. @ Anonymous: The goal of the Local Business Profiles featured on this site, including this one, support local businesses and inform our readers. I didn't ask for, and didn't receive payment from any of them. In the past, the site has featured babysitters, window washers, lawn care, eye care, scrapbooking, snow removal and other small businesses. It's true that there is a bias shown- it is a bias towards supporting local businesses. If you know of another company that might be interested in this, or have information that our neighborhood's residents might find interesting, please let me know. I'll be happy to include it.

  3. Please accept my apology as I am very mistaken. I thought the purpose of this website was to be a central place for information that were pertinent to Victor Gardens and its residents. I thought it was for the communication of VG events, repository of VG governing documents, VG forms, VG meeting notes and information directly related to or of impact to the VG residents. I know in the past it has been utilized for communication of a couple of companies that had offered a special rate or deal that was only available to VG residents. While I don't disagree with using local businesses. I didn't think this forum was an advertising space....my mistake.

    @ Anonymous,

I'm not sure if your response to MV is suppose to come off as sarcastic, but it does. I for one appreaciate those types of posts. (letting us VG residents know of new businesses in our community and what they do.) I for one didn't even know a Pet hostpital was even opening. Also, MV has volunteered countless hours consolidating relevent information about VG and the community and posting it on this site, that he, in my understanding started on his own. So to MV, please continue to post information about our neighborhood and Community. From one VG resident to another, Thanks for what you do. Post Away

  5. Mark, Thank you for your posts and the countless hours you put into this blog. Without you, this blog would never have been created and helpful information such as this would not be communicated. If "anonymous" does not like the way you are communicating information then he or she should just find his/her information somewhere else.

  6. I didn't know where else to leave this comment, but no one from the association has returned my e-mails...
CLEAN UP AFTER YOUR DOGS!!! I live in the 4725 building, the yard on the east side is disgusting. I also see people from 14569 bringing their dogs to the area in between the two buildings without cleaning up after them. Something needs to be done!

  7. RE: Dog waste- Unfortunately, you're likely not going to reach your association people commenting on this website either. I'm not sure which sub-association you're in, but you should be able to find more contact info in links via "Contact" or "Association Info" links found on this site's home page. Hopefully those will help point you in the right direction.
