Announcing VG Neighborhood Yard Sale

We are attempting to make a yearly event of the Victor Garden's Neighborhood Yard/Garage Sale. So, it's time to start your spring cleaning and get your items ready for the big sale!!!

Sale will be advertised in local papers and online for the following dates/times: May 14, 15 and 16 from 7:30A-3P

Feel free to open your garages during all or part of these hours. The sale will be advertised during these times but we'll leave it up to each homeowner to decide how many days/hours they want to participate. We hope this flexibility will entice more neighbors to participate--even if it's just for a few hours one day. This is a great way to get rid of unwanted items and to also shop neighbors sales for great deals!

There are no costs for the homeowner to participate...The signage and ad costs will be paid by the VG event committee...All you have to do is gather your treasures and open your garage door! A special thanks to Erin Yoshida for organizing the event this year. Please email Erin with any questions @ kjetyoshi1@comcast.net

Delinquent FTTH ordered to vacate Association property.

Dear Member of Victor Gardens Community Association:

For the past several months, the Victor Gardens Community Association has been attempting to work with FTTH Communications- a provider of telephone, internet, and television service to many in the community.  Despite many efforts and attempts to address on going concerns, FTTH has not responded.  Effective April 30, 2009, FTTH will no longer be permitted to occupy space in the Neighborhood Activity Center and will cease to be a service provider in Victor Gardens.

FTTH Communications has failed to live up to its obligation to pay Victor Gardens Community Association, as agreed upon, for the space it occupies in the Neighborhood Activity Center.

On February 20, 2009, the Board of Directors mailed a Delinquency and Impending Vacate notice to FTTH Communications and gave it 30 days to fulfill its obligation to the Victor Gardens Community Association or vacate the Neighborhood Activity Center.  To date, Victor Gardens Community Association has not received payment; therefore, the Board of Directors has no other choice but to order FTTH Communication to vacate the Neighborhood Activity Center.

If you are using FTTH Communications as your television, telephone or internet service provider, please consider other alternatives before April 30, 2009.

Should you have any questions, please contact our Community Manager, Casey Groff at 763-225-6498 or via email at cgroff@developcommunity.com

Sincerely,

The Board of Directors, Victor Gardens Community Association

Girl Scouts Collected for the Hugo Food Shelf

The Girl Scouts are happy to announce a bountiful food shelf collection drive!  Gloria Hage wrote to me today, "We just wanted to thank Victor Gardens' homeowners who contributed to the Hugo Food Shelf collection Monday, March 23, by Girl Scout Troop 53643.   There were 15 full grocery bags collected, and the food shelf will let us know the total pounds contributed by Victor Gardens.  A special thanks to one of the new homeowners across the bridge.  Not only was she prepared with her bags, she also bought the special items on the list that were needed!  She truly is special.  We also appreciate the support of some of the town homes.  We had some extra time and "hit them up" as well!"
